Choosing a Dance Style

Youth ballet class
The best part about this question, is you don't have to choose. We offer a wide array of dance styles which gives you the unique ability to choose a few or all of them. That said, when choosing a dance style(s), these are a few questions you should ask yourself:

Do I want to dance to improve my fitness?

What type of music do I enjoy dancing to?

Am I trying to improve my flexibility and coordination?

Do I prefer fast dancing or slow dancing?

Do I want to dance with a partner, or on my own?

Do I want to join a group, or have private lessons? (we encourage all students to combine these but you're welcome to do either form on it's own)

Will I enjoy competitions, performances or do I want to dance socially?
